MAKE UP
It can be tempting to go over board with your Make-Up in a bid to look different from how you usually do to make you stand out. However this can sometimes backfire, as most women know what shades they feel comfortable wearing and how much make-up they like to wear. Hiring a Make-Up artist is a lovely treat but it’s important to undergo a few trials in the run up to your big day to ensure that you feel comfortable with the finished look. Bear in mind that they will probably apply your foundation a lot thicker than you would but this is because it needs to last you from early morning right through to the end of a long day plus it will make your skin look flawless in photographs, which lets face it, is what every woman bride wants.
Other M’s to consider: Mother of the Bride – Possibly the most important member of the bridal party (after the bride and groom of course) is the bride’s mum. You will want her outfit to compliment the rest of the bridal party so a day of mother-daughter shopping might be a fun activity to partake in, in the run up to your big day. Music – Do you hire a live band or opt for a DJ? These days a lot of couples choose both as you can then cater for everyone’s taste. It’s also important to consider music to play throughout the day during the ‘hanging around’ phases such as when the guests are waiting for the bride to arrive or during the welcome drinks & canapés stage – it’s nice to have a bit of background music playing. An iPod would work well here as you can create your own play list.
