VENUE
Choosing the location/venue for your wedding should be the first task on your agenda as this will determine everything from the date, to the number of guests you can invite through to the styling for the day and how many professional companies you will need to employ e.g. caters, make-up artists, entertainment providers etc.
You can get married pretty much anywhere these days although it should be noted that not all venues hold a wedding license meaning that you may also need to book a registry office for after the event to legalise the marriage.
Finding the perfect venue can be a stressful and time consuming affair so our advice would be to have an idea in your head of the type of place you are looking for before you start your search and also have a clear budget so you know what you can/can’t afford. Make sure you barter with the venues so that you get the best deal for your money.
Other V’s to consider: Vows – Why not put pen to paper and add some of your own words to your vows for more of a personal touch.
