Penny Saving Wedding Favour Options

Getting married or throwing a party is expensive, fact. However, being on a budget does not mean you need to sacrifice the small touches such as quirky little wedding favours that contribute to the magic of your big day.

Favours are often an additional that couples decide not to consider due to the cost, especially if you are trying to afford three course meals for hundreds of people, as well as arrival drinks and a dream venue. We have some ideas that are purse-friendly yet still high quality that your guests can take away as a memento of the day.

Within the ‘Special Offers’ section of our site are a few great products that we have hand picked and reduced in price for a limited time only. There is something to suit every theme of event so don’t panic about not finding something to your taste. Similarly, our sale section has some real bargains, most costing less than 50p per favour. Below are some of our favourites, we hope you agree, have a browse around the site for more options.

Favour boxes look really cute on the tables and are also most convenient for guests to take away. If you are having a tropical themed     bash then maybe our palm tree favour boxes might suit you. Fill them with fruity sweets, tea lights, or for the ladies handmade soaps or beauty products.

The laser cut boxes are more traditional and match any colour scheme, with heart or bride and groom patterns. Retro sweets or even wedding rock featuring you and your partner’s initials are also a unique suggestion. Personalising the contents of your favour boxes is very on trend this year so consider something different that represents your personalities or hobbies.

Even better than just a box is a favour box with added place card holder showing your lovely guests where they are sitting. Plus, no arguing about whose favour box contains more sweets as the name on each clears up that potential argument. Our white miniature chair designs are lovely and can be accessorized with stickers or diamantes to compliment all of your other accessories.

A thank you note is a lovely idea but why not add in some other fun bits to the same envelope. Scratch cards with table trivia questions on are an instant icebreakers for people that don’t know each other and is lots of fun, especially after a couple of drinks. You could also add in a ‘wishes card’ where guests can write a message to the newly weds then they can then post in one of our freestanding post boxes, as an alternative to a guest book.

Still struggling for ideas? Put your stamp on the favours by recreating the evening for them to take away. Not sure what we’re talking about? A CD containing your wedding playlist is a lovely gift for people to enjoy as they reminisce your special day. CDs are cheap to purchase and then all you need is the time to burn the songs to them and print sleeves, although lots of companies can produce these professionally for you.
